Courtney Colwell
Principal Solicitor
Courtney leads the strategic direction of Lovett & Green as Principal Solicitor and her passion is in all things agrilaw. She practises in rural property and water conveyancing, estate and succession planning and commercial and agribusiness law, with a particular focus on Western Lands Law.
She was awarded the NSW Law Society Award for Rural and Regional Legal Practitioner of the Year in 2022.
Courtney is a highly capable legal practitioner, at ease with complexity and easy to work with. She is a trusted partner and advisor to her clients. She leads a multi-disciplined team who work with clients to solve real problems.
Courtney joined Lovett & Green in 2012 becoming a Partner in 2016.
Courtney completed her Bachelor of Laws through the University of New England and was then admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of NSW and entered in the High Court of Australia Register of Legal Practitioners.
Skye Tyrwhitt
Principal Solicitor
Skye is a Principal Solicitor of Lovett & Green and is known as one of New South Wales’ water law experts. She has experience in all aspects of rural, residential, commercial and water access licence conveyancing. Skye works with a number of families in rural succession planning and achieves practical and common sense outcomes for her clients. Skye is committed to always achieving the best result possible for her clients.
Skye became a partner at Lovett & Green in 2016, and together with Courtney, leads a very experienced team of solicitors and support staff.
Skye completed her Diploma of Law through the University of Sydney, followed by her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law while working at Lovett & Green.
Jodie Sheen
Solicitor
Jodie is an experienced solicitor who has worked in a number of major regional firms since beginning her career in 2010. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team, with a Masters in Applied Law majoring in Estate Planning and Wills and Estates.
Jodie has a proven track record of navigating complex legal matters, providing practical strategic legal advice, and consistently achieving favourable outcomes for her clients.
Jodie is a member of the NSW Law Society Rural Issues Committee and the NSW Young Lawyers Executive Committee.
Known for her excellence in specialist estate planning and commercial law, Jodie is poised to bring her wealth of knowledge and dynamic skills to new challenges at Lovett & Green.
Jacob Randall
Solicitor
Jacob is an accomplished solicitor and trusted advisor for the communities of Western NSW. With a wealth of experience, Jacob stands out as a versatile legal professional, adept at addressing diverse legal matters with confidence and expertise. His legal knowledge extends across various areas of law, including property transactions, wills and estate planning, commercial law, and criminal matters.
Jacob holds a Bachelor of Theology and a Juris Doctor.
